Daughter Of Mine

Lizzie finds that life in the Birmingham blitz is hard. Her husband is fighting abroad and her young children have been sent to safety in Donegal. One night, going home from her job in munitions, she is attacked and must turn to her parents to help her bear the dreadful consequences. They do their best, but Lizzie is almost destroyed by the future they arrange. Her father declares that she's no daughter of his, but Lizzie makes the biggest decision of her life - to save her own child - and from this point no-one will ever tell her what to do again.
